Alyssa Zokvic

Program Lead
Alyssa, who works as a Program Lead in Research and Innovation, has a diverse academic and professional background with experience in fields including cancer treatment and patient care, cancer epidemiology, health data analytics, and public health. Alyssa obtained a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Sciences with a specialization in radiation therapy from McMaster University and worked as a Radiation Therapist for several years. Alyssa returned to school to pursue her Master of Public Health, which she obtained with a concentration in Population Health Analytics from Wayne State University. Within her master’s program, Alyssa was able to enhance her experience in research project development, data analysis, and research dissemination in both the academic and professional settings where, alongside her numerous public health-focused projects, she had the opportunity to participate in an internship within a Cancer Epidemiology, Prevention, and Control program in Detroit, Michigan. Alyssa is eager to utilize the knowledge and skills that she has accumulated through her experience to contribute to Windsor’s research landscape.
